Making SEND funding work for schools – Part 2

SENDCos – Do you need to make applications for Educational Health Care Plans or Top Up Funding this academic year? If so, this course will offer support in how to ensure your applications are detailed, relevant and fully represent the pupil’s need and the current provision in place within your school.
This Course is aimed at Heads, Business Managers and SENCos and focuses on guidance on applying for Top-Up Funding .
First session – 13th April – 13.30 – 16.00hrs
Where does your SEND funding come from and are you getting the right amount?
This will be followed by a gap task
Target audience – Heads, Business Managers and SENDCos
Second session – 5th May- 13.30 – 16.00hrs
Are you accounting and tracking every penny of SEND spending and how to tighten up on this to support further applications?
Again followed by a gap task

Third session – 27th May – Separate Event (see link below)- 13.30 – 16.00hrs
How to be successful in obtaining top up funding
Split between MK and Corby as processes are different.
