  • Pupils (based on positive aspects so not leading – please explore any comments from there):
    • What do really enjoy in school?
    • What bits of school are your favourite?
    • What parts of school are not your favourite? Why is this?
    • Where do you like to sit in the class and why?
    • I’ve noticed that children on the playground play really nicely, is that how you find it?
    • I’ve noticed that children move round the school really well, is that how it always is?
    Staff:
    • Who is the DSL in the school – who else is in the team?
    • What would you do if you had a concern about a child in school?
    • What would you do if you had a concern about a member of staff?
    • How often do you talk about / have training on safeguarding within school?
    • Do you find out what happens when you’ve raised a concern – have you ever needed to challenge this?
    • Do you have an opportunity to discuss disclosures that have been made to you and feel supported in your actions?
    Parent / carers:
    • Is your child happy coming to school?
    • What do the school do really well?
    • Do you think there is any bullying at the school and do they deal with it appropriately?
    • When you raise concerns do they respond appropriately and in a timely way?
    • What do you feel could be improved?
    • Would you recommend the school to others?
