Leadership in focus: attendance.
The session will focus upon the huge significance of “getting the children across the threshold before you can do anything else“
We will be exploring the role of attendance and punctuality and considering different strategies for improving both of these.
A key question in this session will be “what do we do or need to do to ensure children are motivated to and want to be in school?
We will consider OFSTED expectations of attendance and punctuality as well as provide some practical guidance for considering best practice.
Session participants should bring their school’s attendance strategy, a copy of their school’s current attendance data report. If participants have one, they should also bring an example of an attendance improvement strategy that they currently use, with good effect, to raise/maintain excellent attendance at their school

The cost of the course for non subscriptions schools: £135 + VAT for a full day course, £75 + VAT for a half day course. Your school is invoiced after the event.
