Thank you for becoming a governor within IFtL recently – you are warmly welcomed and we very much appreciate your commitment to the children, families, staff and community of your school and IFtL.

A governor is part of the strategic leadership team of a school and, as such, has a vital role to play in ensuring our children receive a high quality education, in creating an environment in which we can all thrive and that our schools are at the very heart of our communities.

How do we do this? There are many elements to consider and this induction session will introduce you to these including how you will be supported in your role.
