Quality First Teaching for Teachers (To book individual dates)

Teachers who wish to develop their knowledge, understanding No fee for subscription schools – please see below for non-subscription schools.

This series of courses will explore and develop the delegates understanding of Quality First Teaching through developing their knowledge and skills in: Formative assessment; effective feedback including in the moment planning and live feedback; closing gaps; questioning; metacognition; using talk; the role of retrieval practice; the role of modelling; meeting the needs of all pupils; effective use of summative assessment; classroom management, expectations and behaviour.

The content of the course will be based on up to date evidence and research in order to inform best practice. Delegates can attend all courses or different elements separately.

16th March 1.30pm-4pm – Modelling and scaffolding (this has been rescheduled from 2nd February 20211)

23rd March 1.30pm-4pm – Being prepared for effective learning

20th April 1.30pm-4pm – Progression in planning for learning

29th June 1.30pm-4pm – Effective feedback

Facilitated by MKTSA System Leaders The cost of the course for non subscriptions schools: £300 + VAT for all 5 courses, £75 + VAT for each half day course. Your school is invoiced after the event.
