Teatime Club Cook

To start as soon as possible

Salary Grade C points 2-3 £4,985.92 to £5,085.58 pa

12.5 hours per week 38 weeks per year (term time only)

Priors Hall – a learning community is part of the Inspiring Futures through Learning, Multi-Academy Trust, which comprises of ten schools. The Trust is committed to developing a family of schools whose purpose is to inspire the futures of us all through learning together.

Due to the resignation of the current post holder, we have a vacancy for a cook to join our Teatime Club. The successful candidate will be responsible for cooking and serving a variety of nutritious meals from an agreed menu to be served to pupils attending the after school provision.  He/she will attend regular meetings to agree the menus and exchange ideas with the Tea-Time club co-ordinator.

He/she will need to be aware of and plan accordingly for any special dietary needs that the children may have.  He/she will need to plan ahead, taking into account academy closures and pupil numbers then order food accordingly to ensure that waste is kept to a minimum. The successful candidate will already hold or be willing to obtain a Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate.
