Pre-requisites

You will be responsible for or interested in wellbeing and mental health of adults and children in your school communities.

Scope of this CPD

This will be 4 sessions during the year with gap tasks and reflection points.

Part 1. Wellbeing for Education recovery

Part 2. A whole school approach to mental health and wellbeing

Part 3. Working with families

Part 4. Teaching about mental wellbeing in the RSHE curriculum

School Commitment required for this CPD

These sessions are designed to complement each other and form a coherent sequence of training. However, it is possible to attend single sessions if appropriate.

We recommend you access the free course Psychological First Aid: Supporting Children and Young People as part of this training package.

Impact and Benefits of this CPD

You will have the knowledge, understanding and skills to work with school leaders and colleagues to impact on the wellbeing of children and staff in your school.
